Panozzo's Italian Market in Chicago
Wow, have you been to this shop at 1300 south Michigan in the city? Unbelievable! Bittersweet for me, as it reminds me of Flossamore, my uncle's now defunct Italian shop in Flosmoor. This should be a reminder to us all to shop locally. Too often people complain that a locally owned shop closes, but let's be honest, how often did you patronize them? Not trying to lecture you, I'm just saying. Try not to be too jealous, but I am having a beef sandwich for dinner tonight.
